Deneb signs Grant Agreement with the European Commission within the SME Instrument

Deneb finalist in the MedTech Innovator Summit in Dublin


Deneb Medical was among the finalists in the medtech startup competition held in the MedTech Strategist Summit in Dublin on the 17th and 18th April. This was a fantastic opportunity for Deneb to present its project to industry experts and market players and to get their feedback. This feedback has been extremely possitive and thus, gives Deneb additional motivation to keep further developing its project to succesfully bring it till the next stage. Deneb gets financing from the Gipuzkoa Biosciences Foundation


Deneb Medical has secured financing from the Gipuzkoa Biosciences Foundation to further develop its business plan. This grant supports Deneb Medical's activities during 2018 and contributes to the financial stability of Deneb's business project. Link to full article

Deneb performs its first InVivo craniotomy on a pig with its CoBot


Deneb Medical performed on the 9th June the first InVivo craniotomy on a 2-month-old pig with its BoneCut CoBot. The surgical result was positive. Therefore Deneb will focus its activities during the upcoming months on making the prototype safer and more robust. Further Deneb will contact relevant market players to engage them to collaborate in the next project stages. Deneb awarded with the StartUp Gipuzkoa grant programme from the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council


Deneb Medical was awarded with financing from the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council to develop its business plan. This grant supports Deneb Medical's activities during 2017 and will enable Deneb develop the first prototype of its CoBot devoted to bone surgeries.

Deneb awarded with the Neotec 2015 programme from the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology


Deneb Medical was awarded with financing from the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology to develop during 12 months a first prototype of a surgical system able to selectively ablate bony tissue. This grant supports Deneb's business plans and facilitates an early industrialisation and clinical certification of the first product to be launched to the market

Deneb awarded with the Retos - Colaboración 2015 programme from the Spanish Ministry


A consortium led by Deneb Medical was awarded with financing from the Spanish Ministry of Economics and Competitivenes through its Retos - Colaboración 2015 program. This program aims to support high technology projects focused to solve some of today's society's biggest challenges. The decision from the Ministry strongly backs up Deneb Medical's business project and fuels the developments to be done by Deneb Medical during the next 30 months.

Deneb awarded with the Toribio Echevarria entrepreneurship prize


Deneb Medical has been awarded with the XXV edition of the Toribio Echevarria Awards in the category 'Business Ideas / Projects' for its project for the design, development and commercialization of a laser-guided surgery system. This award is an endorsement of the work and effort done by our Team so far, and an extra motivation for the challenges ahead. Link to full article

Deneb gets the support of the Basquefondo programme


The Department of Economic Development and Competitiveness of the Basque Government has supported the project of Deneb Medical for the design, development and commercialization of a laser-guided surgery system. This has been done through the Basquefondo programme, which is a public venture fund managed by the SPRI Group, in collaboration with the Provincial Councils and Business and Innovation Centres of the Basque Country.
